Do you really come to me for computer repair?

Yes. House calls are the default, not an upcharge — I come to you anywhere in Pinellas County. The greater Tampa Bay area (Tampa, Madeira Beach, St Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach) is by arrangement. If a job needs the bench, you can ship the device or I'll pick it up.

Is the diagnosis really free?

Yes. Diagnosis is free, and you see every quote before any work starts. No surprise charges.

What does "no fix, no fee" mean?

Exactly what it says: if I can't fix it, you don't pay. You approve the quote first, and the price you approve is the price you pay.

How fast is turnaround?

Most fixes are done within 24 hours. I'll give you an honest window when I see the problem — and if a part has to come in, you'll know up front.

Can you recover data from a dead or failed hard drive?

Often, yes. Everyday cases — accidental deletes, formatted drives, a drive that still spins — I handle directly. Physical clean-room failures go to a partner lab that evaluates for free and quotes you before anything is attempted; I never put a price on that work up front.

Do you transfer VHS tapes and old camcorder footage?

Yes — VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, and camcorder tapes to digital, plus DVD authoring and basic home-movie editing. It's a real service line here, handled locally — your tapes are never mailed away.
